In de laatste raadsvergadering voor de zomervakantie is de Kadernota 2020 behandeld. Een onderwerp dat steeds weer terugkeert in Hillegom is duurzaamheid. GroenLinks heeft een motie ingediend met een instrument om het duurzaam bouwen in Hillegom te bevorderen. Bloeiend Hillegom heeft de motie gesteund en aan de wethouder gevraagd naar de huidige stand van duurzaam bouwen en hoe inwoners zelf hun huis duurzamer kunnen maken. De wethouder reageerde hierop dat de gemeente volop bezig is met het verbeteren van de communicatie naar de inwoners. Zo zijn er in Hillegom ‘Energiecoaches’ die inwoners helpen bij het verduurzamen van hun huis. Op korte termijn worden er nog meer van deze coaches aangesteld, zodat er meer inwoners bij hen terecht kunnen. Daarnaast is er een Duurzaam Bouwloket waar mensen al gebruik van kunnen maken bij vragen op het gebied van duurzaamheid. Het duurzaam bouwen gaat wel leiden tot een hogere prijs van woningen, maar je verdient het later terug, doordat je een lagere energierekening krijgt, liet de wethouder weten.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
