Donderdagavond 9 juli vond de laatste gemeenteraad voor het zomerreces plaats. Op de agenda stond het woonprogramma waarin het woonbeleid voor 2020 tot en met 2024 wordt vastgesteld. In de woonvisie wordt gesteld dat er voor 2030 maar liefst 1440 woningen gerealiseerd moeten worden om aan de lokale woningbehoefte te voldoen. Bloeiend Hillegom ziet dit getal niet als een absoluut getal, maar als een streefgetal. In Hillegom is er namelijk maar beperkte ruimte om woningen te bouwen en sommige locaties, zoals de Zanderij, zijn van cultuurhistorische waarde en daarom achten wij dit niet als geschikte locaties om woningen te realiseren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De woonvisie die gisteravond voor lag is een ambitieus plan: er moeten zowel huizen worden gerealiseerd die aan veel duurzaamheidseisen moeten voldoen als woningen die voorzien in de behoefte van starters op de woningmarkt. Bloeiend Hillegom vraagt zich af hoe dit allemaal gerealiseerd moet worden en heeft voorgesteld om te kijken naar wat op korte termijn realistisch en uitvoerbaar is. Daarbij vinden wij het belangrijk dat er voornamelijk wordt ingezet op voldoende starterswoningen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met de moties om de starterslening te verhogen tot een maximaal bedrag van \u20ac50.000 euro en om een onderzoek te doen naar de mogelijkheid van het instellen van een fonds voor sociale woningbouw zet Bloeiend Hillegom zich in voor starters op de woningmarkt, zodat het voor hen gemakkelijker wordt om een geschikte woning te vinden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
